About me

Pitching InspirEd · UNSW INFS3605 Showcase, Bronze Award

I graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and a Bachelor of Information Systems, and I am currently studying a Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the University of Sydney (expected May 2027). In 2025 I also completed 1 year of a double master's degree at UNSW: Master of Information Technology (Data Science) and Master of Commerce (FinTech).

My work sits where finance, supply chain and data meet: financial analysis, process optimisation and process modelling, demand forecasting and inventory planning, and automation of reporting pipelines. I also design UX/UI mockups in Power Apps and Figma, and bring project management experience to delivery.

What I do

  • AI automation

Built an internal AI-powered agent for reporting, pricing and operational queries, and a Python and Make pipeline into a Notion AI workspace.

  • Data & BI analytics

SQL extraction, financial models in Excel and Python, and dashboards in Power BI and Tableau for portfolio, project and KPI reporting.

  • Supply chain analytics

Time-series demand forecasting (Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, ARIMA) and inventory planning with reorder points, safety stock and DIO.

How I work

  1. Map: Map procurement, inventory or finance workflows to find bottlenecks.
  2. Model: Build forecasting, pricing and financial models on the data.
  3. Automate: Automate the data flow with Python, Make and Apps Script.
  4. Report: Ship dashboards and KPI reports that support decisions.

  2. Mar 2025 - Sep 2025Hybrid

    Business Intelligence Analyst

Tan Quoc Steel, steel distribution and structures

    • Mapped procurement and inventory workflows; applied demand forecasting and inventory planning models (reorder points, safety stock, DIO) to identify bottlenecks and support stock decisions.
    • Developed time-series demand forecasting models (Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, ARIMA) to predict monthly demand for hot-rolled coil and structural steel products.
    More from Tan Quoc Steel
    • Built an internal AI-powered automation agent to support reporting, pricing and operational queries.
  3. Jan 2024 - Mar 2024
